Network orders third season of comedy

TBS has renewed ‘My Boys’ for a third season.
TBS will renew its single-in-the-city comedy “My Boys” for a third season, sources said Monday.
“My Boys,” which concludes its second season Monday night, garnered an average of 1.5 million total viewers this summer. Figure is up slightly over the 1.4 million it averaged in its first season, which aired primarily in the fourth quarter last year.
Net is expected to pick up eight episodes for the third season.
Turner net ordered 13 episodes for the first season of “My Boys” but scaled down its order this year to seven episodes, including Monday night’s one-hour finale.
Betsy Thomas created “Boys,” the Sony Pictures TV skein that stars Jordana Spiro as a female sportswriter among a cast of overgrown adolescent men in Chicago.
TBS has been using its reruns of “Sex and the City” as a lead-in to the series and even parodied the show from its Time Warner cable sibling in an episode this season.
TBS has been looking to develop and air more original sitcoms, with prexy Steve Koonin saying he is aiming for four original halfhours in primetime and four in latenight. Net recently renewed the family-oriented “The Bill Engvall Show” for a second season.

O 19. O EPISÓDIO COM PARTICIPAÇÃO DO RYAN REYNOLDS! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
